Call for Speakers - submit by 16 November

For the past decade streaming video has been playing second fiddle to broadcast and satellite, but today OTT is frequently the consumer's first choice for watching both live and on-demand content. The sessions at the 2019 Streaming Forum in London will revolve around this sea change by debating (and maybe even answering) the question OTT: better than broadcast?

We're looking for presentations and panel discussions that inspire, challenge, and contribute to the streaming industry's future by examining the latest technological developments, business strategies, and content innovations. In particular, were eager to receive proposals that emphasise the following topics (though we're open to any and all proposals):

  • Encoding & Transcoding for Multiple Devices and Platforms
  • Formats, Protocols, and Standards: HEVC, AV1, VVC, 4K, HDR, MPEG-DASH, HLS, and more
  • Content Delivery, Networks, and Infrastructure
  • Microservices, Containerisation, and Virtualisation
  • Live Event and Live Linear Streaming
  • Content Protection & DRM
  • Monetisation Models: AVOD, SVOD, TVOD, HVOD
  • Analytics, Quality of Service, and Quality of Experience
  • Virtual Reality/360° Streaming
  • AI, Neural Networks, and Machine Learning Applications for Video
  • Social Streaming: Facebook Live, YouTube Live, Twitter, and more
