Streaming Forum keynotes announced

Experts from DAZN and SKY top the bill at the forthcoming Streaming Forum (26 February 2019, ExCeL London). The full conference programme is announced here today. 


KEYNOTE - Changing the way the world sees sport
Florian Diederichsen, Chief Technology Officer, DAZN

How do you go about disrupting the sport industry that is still largely bundled with linear pay TV? What content mix do you need to be successful and how do you build a streaming platform from scratch? DAZN CTO, Florian Diederichsen, shares learnings from DAZN on its mission to dominate global sport streaming

Florian joined Perform in 2014 after the merger of Opta into the Perform Group, now called DAZN Group. Florian oversees the management of DAZN’s technology portfolio, comprised of development, IT services, and video architecture. DAZN Group is home to DAZN, the world's first pure sport live and on-demand streaming service. Florian previously worked at imp where he was Managing Director and Chief Technology Officer before selling the company in 2000. He then went on to be Managing Director at Fairplay Productions prior to joining Opta in 2006 where he was Chief Technical Officer and Chief Operating Officer. Florian has a BA equivalent EE.

OTT hasn’t just changed how people watch TV; it’s changed how advertisers connect with those viewers. This presentation from Sky’s Deepa Kutty looks at how targeted advertising and dynamic ad insertion technology are revolutionising monetisation, the differences between TV and mobile advertising, and the future trends that will shape OTT.

Deepa is a member of the Sky’s Advertising Technologies Leadership Team and is closely involved in shaping strategy and programmes for the Sky Group (UK, Germany and Italy) in the Content, Advertising Tech and Promotions business areas. She has extensive experience working with large media enterprises in areas covering the entire broadcast technology content supply chain.
